'Sunrise at Tangled Creek' is a handmade print crafted in a tradional darkroom on silver gelatine paper.
The negative was made on a cold winter morning in Yellowstone National Park USA.
I arrived at this spot rather too early in the dark and and settled down to the long wait for the dawn. It was very cold.
As the sun slowly rose and warmed up the air, the early mist also began to rise and, before burning off, provided a short window of time before these soft atmospheric tones gave way to the higher contrast tonality of the day.
The print is made on Ilford semi-matte warmtone fibre-based paper, selenium, thiourea and gold toned for aesthetic effect and to ensure maximum archival permanence.

Prints are signed and titled discretely in pencil on the front under the image and detailed, titled, signed and dated en verso.
All prints are accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and advice on the best care of the print.
'Sunrise at Tangled Creek' is available in two sizes; 16x12" and 20x16" with appropriate borders for window matting.
Prints will be made to order and shipped within four weeks of the offer closing date.
Orders will normally be shipped unmounted and flat in archival sleeves in sturdy print boxes, but mounting and window matting ready for framing is available on request.
